Often, you have to make do with limited resources and support to address the business challenges. Most of the time, the work processes are less than sophisticated with plenty of room for improvement.
Working in smaller company does, however, offer an opportunity to deliver real impact to the business in some meaningful ways. Organizational hierarchy tends to be flatter and leaner as compared to industry giants. In this role as Finance Manager (newly created opening), you are responsible for company’s overall financial operations, including financial planning, reporting, budgeting and governance. Leading a small team, your work also includes review of work processes and system, reducing the amount of manual work as well as enhancement of internal controls in work processes across the organization.
Working consultatively with management, you devise medium to long term financial planning to improve company’s overall financial performance. Managing relationship with banks, auditors and tax agents is also part of the work.
What is required of you?
Professional membership of CA Singapore
Prior experience in people management
Hands-on approach to delivery of financial and operational work
